I Heart Faces {Chalk}

 When I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to grab one of my outside desk pictures but I took sooo many this year it was tought to choose one. I ended up grabbing this picture because I loved the the smile on his face the way he is just being a "boy" and holding it on his head. LOl! It's kind of fun being the photographer for your brother and future sister-in-law because you get an opinion into the theme. I have been talking to Ashlee about wedding decore and style and we decided the engagement shoot should reflect that a little bit. We decided on a "vintage" theme for Shaun and Ashlee's engagement photos.

I knew right away I had to have this hat for the photos! I have a few pictures of my grandma and grandpa from before they were married and he was wearing a hat like this (this one was his too but I don't think it's the original from their photos). When our grandpa passed away my grandma gave us each one of his button up plaid shirts. I had mine hanging in the closet so I grabbed it out for this shoot and I am so glad I did. I think it adds the perfect touch to some of these photos.

Isn't she the most adorable little girl!! Sam and her Danni were so fun to photograph! They were happy, cooperative and couldn't have been dressed any cuter.

FYI- The beanbag was about 2" below him. The sling was being held wasn't hanging in the air. He was sleeping very hard when this pic was taken which makes it easier. Sling made by Keri Meyers.
